| Bio: | Pickles...all kinds of pickles...dills, sweet and sour, bread and butter, and my mother's beloved piccalilli, all made fresh from the cucumbers out of my father's garden. The scents of vinegar, mustard seed, bay leaves, and cloves wafting through the tiny yellow kitchen. Watching over the pressure cooker dial and adjusting the dial on the gas stove. These are the memories which prompted me to choose the name of this blog as well as the nickname I'm commonly known by in the online children's writer's community. | |
